The Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe is one of the world’s most prestigious flat horse races, held annually at the historic Longchamp Racecourse in Paris each autumn. Established in 1920, it brings together elite Thoroughbreds aged three and older to compete over 2,400 meters on turf. Known for its rich purse and global prestige, the race attracts top owners, trainers, and jockeys, making it a highlight of the international racing calendar.
Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe – Saturday
The Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend kicks off on Saturday with an action packed racecard full of top quality racing. There are no fewer than five group races, including two Group 1 contests, the Qatar Prix du Cadran and Qatar Prix de Royallieu. Although a slightly quieter day at the racecourse this day is not to be missed for the avid racing fan as some of the top horses and jockey get this Parisian weekend underway!
Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe – Sunday
The racing continues on Sunday with the main event, the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, Europe’s richest race! But this isn’t the only high quality action on the track, with four other Group 1 races including the Prix de l’Abbaye for the top sprinters!
This raceday is not to be missed and simply has to be ticked off the bucket list for every racing fan!
Although there is no formal dress code at Longchamp, the day is all about grandeur and tradition, so why not make sure your outfit matches the atmosphere?
Gentlemen might wear a smart suit and tie or even a bowtie, coupled with smart shoes.
Ladies might go for a sophisticated dress or a chic ensemble, paired with matching accessories for an extra shot of glamour.
It is recommended to take note of the weather, as parts large parts of the racecourse are outside and exposed to the elements.

Our experiences to the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe typically include return Eurostar travel from London St Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord.
We offer a range of train times, allowing guests to travel at the timings that best suit their plans for the weekend.
Travel is based in Standard Class, however upgrades are available to Standard Premier & Business Premier for a supplement.
For those that would prefer to fly we can either remove the Eurostar from your experience or include flights to Paris. We can also include airport transfers upon arrival into Paris from either of the city’s airports.
